When glass breaks, on the film-treated glass pane there arise small splinters, which make small cuts on the film surface. These slits tear up on the next impact and tear the film apart. This has been the weakest feature of security films… till now. The 80-layered, 100-micron-thick S4 ML (multi-layered) security film has just arrived; due to its unique layer structure and the uneven elongation of the layers this film provides the strongest resistance against tear. The S4 ML surface is protected by a double scratch resistant coating, it ensures a min. 98% UV-filtering and comes with a 10-year factory guarantee against bubbling, breakage, peeling, delamination and adhesive failure.
